After you finish, dip some new cotton swabs into the makeup remover and start gently wiping your lashes with them
. Repeat as many times as it takes for the mascara to be completely wiped off. In order to avoid irritating your eyes with too much makeup remover, remember to frequently wipe off any makeup remover excess with dry cotton swabs, or very soft facial tissues. Wash your face once more to make sure that everything has been taken off and gently dry. Do not reuse the same cotton swabs or facial tissues. While using them, make sure they are kept in a clear, dry piece of cloth or tissue. Do not borrow them from friends, even if you are assured that they haven't been used yet.
