The run-flat system only allows the driver to travel out of danger or to a tire repair shop where it can be patched or replaced.

The run-flat technology helps reduce the worry that comes with flats. Instead of the driver making a death-defying tire change with traffic whizzing behind you, a run-flat tire allows you to safely exit the danger zone and make the appropriate tire repair in a safe location. This definitely provides peace of mind for drivers until they are able to get to a tire service center.
