Have you tried everything to get your bum toned and lifted? I know I have.

I remember walking along the floor on my bottom to try and shift the fat, I even spent over $100 on a pair of vibrating pants. Just for the record, they didn`t work--or perhaps I just gave up too easily. And that`s the problem, you have to persevere. It`s no good trying an exercise for a couple of days or even a couple of weeks and then giving up. It`s a big muscle you`re working and so you have to be consistent.and persistant.

By the very fact that you`re reading this I suspect you`re not a gym bunny (how boring is the gym?) So, what you want is something that will fit into your daily life. Once you get into the habit of doing a set of exercises at a certain time during the day- you won`t even notice that you`re doing them!!


Squats are fab for lifting the rear. Feet should be around be a little more than shoulder width apart, toes turned out and stomach sucked in. Squat as though you`re going to sit on a chair and once your thighs are almost parallel to the floor, straighten again always keep a nice controlled movement. I`m well known in my house for doing squats while I`m brushing my teeth. Do as many as you can (until you feel the muscle beginning to tire). If you do no other exercise, the squat will make a difference.

Another great one, once you`re recovered from the squats is to have your feet at shoulder width apart but this time keep the toes forwards, slowly bend your knees and stick your bottom out as you go down. Your upper body should be tilted forwards slightly and it helps if you put your arms out in front for balance.

Again, don't go down too far-aiming for the thigh parallel with the floor is enough, but do these nice and slowly and you'll soon feel the `pull`.

Both of these pracised whenever you get a spare couple of minutes will tone bum and firm the entire area.
