Do you need 5 reasons? Maybe you do. It's very easy to get distracted with the "I gotta do this and that" every weekend. Many of us become weekend warriors and rarely make time to go somewhere special. By the time we've completed our to-do lists, it's time to prepare and rest up for Monday morning. However, it is worth it to make time to get away from the routine. Consider these reasons to make a visit to an Art Museum.

You can afford it!

Museums have low cost admission rates, and even lower rates for students. Many admit children for free. Free is great! Art museums offer activities and exhibits designed specifically for children. You get to relax and appreciate works of art while your children are learning about it in a fun way. You're happy because you didn't have to spend a lot of money.

It's an Educational trip for all.

Okay, so it's not like going to see the latest movie or shopping at the mall, which are typical weekend trips for most people. However, you are adding some culture to your life. You may learn something and have a nice time doing it. Who knows, you may be inspired to go home and create something with your own two hands.
