Top 6 Reasons why people fail in internet marketing
For those of you who have stumbled across my articles
, I apologize for any confusion; this is a lame attempt to redeem myself.
There are a myriad of reasons why someone fails at something. In an earlier post I quoted Michael Jordan in which he said he has failed numerous times. He was asked to win the game 26 different times and lost. Does anyone remember his brief stint in the minor leagues with the White Sox organization, enough said? Thomas Edison once said, "I didn't fail. I just found ten thousand ways that didn't work."
My freshman year of high school I failed at English, the entire school year; I had to reimburse my parents for summer school. Ironically, I teach high school English, to freshman.
The point being is I failed, you have probably failed, but it is what separates the person from failure. Donald Trump had to file for bankruptcy. It is how we rebound from failure that sets us apart. Do we learn from our mistakes and fix the problem, or do we run and hide sobbing uncontrollably wondering why we continue to fail.
If you have to think about the options, odds are, you resembled scenario two, stop reading. However, if you put the failure behind you, fix what is broken, and move onward and upward, you won't be able to help being in the company of Michael Jordan, Albert Einstein, and Donald Trump.
So, without further ado, here are my top 6 reasons why people fail at internet marketing.
6.-- NOT PAYING ATTENTION!
5.-- Thinking everyone is a prospect and not getting the proper training.
4.-- Buying the hype that this business is not sales. Your sponsor or up line is going to tell you that it's not sales, "We just share or buy products." If your sponsor says this to you, run. Run as fast as you can, and don't look back.
3. -Sporadicism: From the adjective sporadic, the act of being all over the place and lacking FOCUS. That's not really the definition, but it might as well be. Many friends of mine and I failed early because we lacked focus, and joined every business under the sun. Multiple streams of income are good; however, start with one, make some money, and, then, expand.
2.-Promoting your business on the front end is a sure fire way to go broke. No one really cares about your product, and when someone slams me with the opportunity first, I tend to nod, and listen, but his card usually gets tossed. I hope you don't think I am being mean, I am just honest. If I am going to get into business with someone, it's because of them as a person, and not their products.
1.-Now, for the number one reason why people fail in this business is because they DO NOT treat this as a business, but rather a hobby!
Folks, if you want to make money, you must follow a system, learn how to prospect, and market yourself, and you will have to put time and effort if you want to see results. In this day and age, many people are successful online, while the statistics say only 3% are, think of how many people are online at a given time. Blood, sweat, and tears, overcoming and learning from failure, and persistence are sure fire ways to reach the pinnacle.
