Top Four Reasons Why Smokers Need Electronic Cigarettes

There are two compelling reasons why smokers should quit

. One is that it slowly kills the smoker. The other is that it slowly kills people who happen to be near the smoker. Many smokers are aware of these two reasons yet they continue with their very harmful habit. For many of these smokers, quitting usually comes rather late, often when they are already diagnosed with life-threatening diseases that arose as a result of the accumulation of toxic chemicals in their bodies.

There is hope for smokers who are too stubborn to quit. It is called the electronic cigarette, and here are four compelling reasons why smokers should immediately shift from using tobacco products to using electronic cigarettes.

1. Electronic cigarettes do not harm to the smoker. Electronic cigarettes are totally safe to use. Instead of processed tobacco, electronic cigarettes use a substance known as e-liquid. E-liquid is a safe mixture of propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin, food flavors, and water. All these ingredients have passed the scrutiny of health agencies and they are certified safe for human consumption. E-liquid is used to simulate tobacco smoke. Unlike tobacco smoke however, e-liquid does not contain any toxic chemical. E-liquid is vaporized through heating and not through burning organic materials, which produces greenhouse gases, pollutants, and chemicals in tobacco smoke. Vapor from an e-liquid is totally safe such that people can use electronic cigarettes anywhere.

2. Electronic cigarettes do not cause harm to non-smoking people as does conventional tobacco cigarettes through the concept known as second-hand smoke. Unlike the case involving tobacco products, people near users of electronic cigarettes are not harmed by "second-hand smoke" from the electronic device. The second-hand smoke from electronic cigarettes is actually a clean, completely safe vapor produced from e-liquid, a water based substance.

3. Electronic cigarettes do not harm the environment. Tobacco products cause damage to the environment because they involve burning organic materials (tobacco leaves and paper). In the process of burning, carbon dioxide (a greenhouse gas) and carbon monoxide (a lethal air pollutant) are produced. In addition toxic and smelly cigarette butts are produced as waste products. Electronic cigarettes do not involve any of these environment-damaging results.

4. Electronic cigarettes are cooler and a lot more exciting than conventional tobacco products. This is because dozens of different makes and models of electronic cigarettes are already available, with hundreds of accessories ready for enjoyment.
