Top Ten Winter Activities in Snowmass, Colorado - Part 2

Snowmass is a beautiful place to be in the winter, and the holidays can't be beat. The town of Snowmass Village goes all out, decorating the common areas and incorporating special activities into every day. There is so much to do at so many ages, you'd have to come back year after year to experience them all!

Owning a piece of Snowmass real estate is an excellent way to be sure that you don't miss a thing. Relaxing in your own space and then heading out the door to the Base Village or Mall to visit Santa or do some shopping is just one of the perks!

3. Santa's Village and Christmas Music December 21-24 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm

The North Pole comes to the Snowmass Mall and Base Village when Santa's magical parish opens to hear the last minute request of good girls and boys. Free photos with Santa are offered daily throughout the week. Enjoy free holiday music on the Mall and Base Village by Boiling Point, a barbershop quartet, on December 21 and 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and by What the Dickens Carolers on December 23 and 24 also from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

4. Torchlight Parade December 23 at 5:00 pm

Whether you're a viewer or participant, the annual free Torchlight Parade down Snowmass' slopes looks magnificently luminous. Adults and kids ages 8 and up are invited to be part of the trail of lights down Fanny Hill led by none other than Santa himself, who is the official Torchlight Parade escort.
