Speed of operation
On our Lenovo ThinkPad T-series laptop running Vista, Topckit was pretty fast. We ran a default auto-scan which uncovers all potential problems, and it took Topckit a little under 2 minutes to find out 675 errors in the registry. Pretty impressive, although on an older machine the scan would probably taken longer to complete.

Ability to speed up the PC
Now for the critical part -- did Topckit actually speed up our Lenovo laptop? Actually, yes. The Vista Ultimate start up time reduced from 2 minutes and 56 seconds to only 1 minute 23 seconds, which is big boost. Plus, Outlook Express used to take ages to launch, about one and a half minutes, and after Topckit corrected registry errors, Outlook was running like new, and only takes 5 seconds to start.
Considering the results of our tests, we are pretty happy with Topckit. Note, however, that we did need to reboot Vista before we could enjoy a faster laptop, so you may have to do the same.
