Growing up with Toy story 1 and 2 meant that I was treated to a magical world created by Pixar
, how could I not love the Toy Story movies, so when I heard the 3rd movie was in the process of being made I was not only excited but I was also nervous. I was nervous simply because I heard that the movie was going to be in 3D and I thought that possibly the movie would be all gimmicky without the story lines and character emotions as we knew it. Thankfully I was wrong.
This time the story has moved on and Andy and his little sister are not so little anymore. Andy is now off to college and has to get rid of his childhood playthings. He decides to put most of his toys up the attic but he decides to take Woody with him, however in a cruel turn of events the toys end up in the waste and it's up to Woody to save them.
When Woody does save them the toys don't believe him that it was an accident and decide they would be better off living in a children's playschool. Everything in this new playschool looks amazing and Barbie even meets her Ken. However things aren't as they seem and things begin to take a turn for the worse.
I don't want to go too much into the details because I don't want to spoil the film for you however I can say that Toy Story 3 is still as witty as ever and I don't doubt that you will be smiling all throughout the film, until the very end at least where there are some really strong tear jerker moments and if you don't feel your eyes filling up or at least a lump in your throat then someone may want to see if you still have a pulse.
