Trading Stock Newsletter

Securities Research Services (SRS) is a stock trading newsletter service that approaches the market a bit differently than what you may have come to expect from a stock trading service. Many trading newsletters entice subscribers with big promises, appealing to their greed. We take a prudent approach to the market and seek to build long-lasting wealth for our newsletter subscribers using stock trading methods that focus on the strongest stocks and by taking the least amount of risk possible.

Stock Trading Strategy

Many stock trading newsletters subject their subscribers unknowingly to huge amounts of risk by offering trade recommendations on stocks that have already exploded higher. We buy only from sound bases that allow us to use a reasonable stop loss. We never second-guess the trend, and we buy strength and sell weakness.

Stock Picking Strategy:

A lot of stock trading newsletters run daily, automated scans looking for technical buy or sell set-ups. Unfortunately, this lazy method of stock analysis offers a low probability of success in a market environment where your competitors are experienced money managers and sophisticated stock trading computers. We want to buy only the strongest stocks, from the strongest sectors, that have increasing relative strength, increasing fund ownership, improving earnings per share (EPS) and a good story that tells us why this stock will continue to be in demand by institutional buyers.

Our methods take a lot of work, a great deal of research, and a great deal of experience, but it pays off at the end of the day and keeps risk low for our newsletter subscribers.

Risk Management Strategy:

Years ago we developed a unique risk-protection strategy. The underlying risk-management philosophy for the SRS stock trading newsletter is "if you consistently make more money when a trade is successful than you lose when a trade fails, your portfolio account can never lose money." Each trade we take never exposes a position to more than a 3% loss. In reality, we have an average loss of less than 2 percent on failed trades. In addition, we never take a trade unless it has at least a 10 percent reward potential.

We call this the SRS 10/2 Ratchet system: it looks for a 10 percent reward, keeps losses below 2 percent and keeps our client's portfolios perpetually ratcheting higher.

SRS Daily Stock Trading Newsletter Service

Several hours before the markets open each day, we send a newsletter to our subscribers that includes a detailed analysis of the market and an assessment of where new money-making opportunities are at.
