One of the common diseases of birds especially for turkeys is diarrhea. It can be acquired thru drinking infectious water and pecking on feces that they eliminated or extracted from other animals. They may recommend some antibiotics like Bacitracin, Streptomycin, and some vitamins and minerals. In order to prevent the transmission of sickness, if some are already infected, it is better to segregate the dead turkeys immediately after to prevent other turkeys from coming close to them and be contaminated. Make sure that their coop is always clean by providing good ventilation. Keep it clean from any litter and as much as possible, and lessen the population of flies in the area. Remember that botulism and other known turkey diseases can be transmitted thru cannibalism, eating of insects and litters.
