Tvs Apache 180 Abs Coming Soon To India In This Year 2011
At the grand Auto Expo 2010 in Delhi, TVS Motors has introduced its new TVS Apache 180 ABS cc segment
. The exciting bike attracted a large number of young bikers at the Expo. The stunning bike would be hitting the Indian roads in Feb 2011. The TVS Apache-RTR is a high performance oriented motorcycle from TVS Motors and appeals wonderful to a lot of young buyers who wants both performance and power. Moreover, adding ABS in TVS Apache has added more safety and better braking system. After Honda CBR 250R, the TVS Apache RTR is the second most bike to be launch in India with ABS. TVS Motors will charge an additional Rs.8000 for the ABS (add on safety feature). Hence, the bike is estimated to cost around 80,000 INR. The stunning bike will be available in four colors white, grey, yellow and black.
The ABS feature in the new Apache 180 ABS will be having an advanced hydraulic ECU i.e. Electronic Control Unit and speed sensors. The speed sensors will be continuously monitoring the speed of the wheels. The safety of rider is enhanced by ABS feature. Another important and new safety feature RLP i.e. Rear Wheel lift-off Protection is likely to be included in the upcoming TVS Apache- RTR. At panic braking condition the RLP system keeps the rear wheel from lifting off the road. Thus more safety can be expected from the new stunning TVS Apache-RTR. TVS Motors in collaboration with Germanys Continental AG has developed this Rear Wheel lift-off Protection (RLP) feature.
VS is providing an option to switch on or off the ABS feature. ABS feature will be a blessing for many young amateur riders with bad road conditions that are prone to accidents. TVS Apache 180 ABS has a 4 stroke engine with single cylinder. TVS Apache- RTR with ABS feature is powered with a 177.4 cc engine. TVS Apache- RTR delivers maximum power of 17.03 PS at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque 15.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The maximum speed of this powerful TVS bike is 125 km/hr. The stunning bike has a fuel tank with the capacity of 16 liters and the capacity of reserve its 2.5 liters. In Comparison to new 250cc bikes that are to be launched shortly, the TVS Apache RTR 180 might not be exciting enough. But when it comes to safety the TVS Apache RTR 180 will be having the advantage of ABS and RLP feature.
