TVS Apache is the bike from TVS Motors india. The TVS Apache was launched in year 2007 in India. Since its launch the bike has been a great success for TVS motors. TVS launched this bike in competetion with Bajaj's Pulsar, Hero Honda's Hero Honda Karizma. The bike has now become the flagship vehicle for the company. TVS has sold more than 3 lacs TVS Apache bikes in India.
The bike has four variants, they are TVS Apache 150, TVS Apache RTR 160, TVS Apache RTR Fi 160 and TVS Apache 180. The RTR stands for Racing Throttle Response. These bike have been primarily designed and manufactured for racing purpose. The dash board of the bike contains the lap timer and a display of last three 0-60 KMS/h timings.
TVS apache was the first bike to use the petal disk breaks in India. The TVS Apache 160 RTR has a great pick up and attains a 0-60 km/h in 4.3 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 15.7 seconds. The top speed of this bike is 120 kmph with the mileage of 65 km per litre. The TVS Apache 180 however has a top speed of 125 kmph with the mileage of 60 kmpl.
