The primary purpose of your writing is to connect emotionally with your audience. You need to be able to show them that you empathize with them, and that you really understand their needs. That is where your focus needs to be.


You audience is jaded. They are used to reading internet marketing messages. They have already read dozens of sales letters that they didn't act on. You need to be able to build a rapport with them to gain their trust. They have to feel connected to you or they will not act on your message.

Without that sense of connection your writing becomes just a lot of hype and exaggerated claims. Your copywriting cannot be just a collection of bullet points, features, and benefits. You need to tell a story with your letter that builds an understanding with your audience. Without that, your sales letter is just another in a series of letters that your readers will click away from without acting.

There is not secret trick to successful internet marketing. It is a collection of skills that anyone can learn if you know where to look to get the information you need. Successful copywriting is just another technique in your arsenal that can push your earnings over the top.
