There are nine different UK working visas that different people can apply for, which means if you qualify for one, there is a good chance you won't for another. This means if you are between the ages of 18 and 30 and from the countries of Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, or New Zealand, you can apply for the Tier 5 Youth Mobility Visa Scheme. This used to known as the Working Holiday Visa and is the ideal way to work and live in the UK for up to two years.

Another option is the Irish Working Holiday Authorization, as Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia have an agreement that allows young citizens of either country to fund a holiday by participating in casual work. You have to be between 18 and 30 and can work for up to six months for any employer. Maybe you are of UK ancestry. If you are over 17 and have a grandparent that was born in the UK, the Isle of Man, Ireland, or the Channel Islands, you have the option of working and living in the UK for up to five years.
