UPDATE: Driver hurt in Bedminster car accident, hospitalized

Bedminster police Lt. Patrick Ussery said Vance H. Coulthard, 56, of South Carolina was driving east on Pottersville Road around 10:07 a.m., near Lisk Hill Road, traveling toward Route 206, when Coulthard swerved the car to avoid nfl jersey hitting a deer.

Wet pavement contributed to Coulthard instead hitting a telephone pole, police said.

The car door had to be removed by Bedminster-Far Hills Fire Department to extricate Coulthard.

Police said a witness had reported seeing a man fall Sunday over a 30-foot (9-meter) drop into the river near Boston Spa, 140 miles (225 kilometers) north of London.

"The incident is not believed to be suspicious," police said, indicating that they do not believe anyone else was involved.

Most doctors will happily assess your risk factors and determine if the additional exam is needed. If you do decide to have your eyes dilated, bring a driver to take you home. And, remember, an hour exam by the eye doctor can be a lot more pleasant.

Coulthard was taken to the hospital by Somerset EMS.
