There are many universities in Rajasthan which are dedicated for different education lines like agriculture, IT, health science, medical etc. The government of India and the government of Rajasthan have taken all measures and necessary steps for the betterment of education in Rajasthan. There are mainly 22 in Rajasthan which offers Graduate Degrees, Post Graduate Degree and all other vocational courses including MBA and mass communication courses. Some of them are part of the Association of Indian universities while others are state universities and few are deemed. Let's have a look on the various universities of Rajasthan to have a clearer idea on the options available for study in Rajasthan.

The state owned Universities are run by the Government of Rajasthan and have funds allocated for its growth and development. Few of the State universities of Rajasthan are given below.

The deemed of them are granted the permission of imparting education by the UGC.. There are eight deemed in Rajasthan which offers various courses in mass communication, MBA courses and other IT courses across many colleges in Jaipur, Pilani, Udaipur etc.

However, with more and more students opting for higher education the need and demand for seats in renowned universities increased to a great extent. Keeping the demand in view lot of private came into picture that has made their special place in the education field. The Self-Financed approved by the Governor of Rajasthan are as follows:

Jaipur National University, Jagan Nath and Amity University in Jaipur. Singhania in Jhunjhunu and Sir Padampad Singhania in Udaipur.
