The revised eBook contain a number of new brilliant color photographs and has additions to cover the most recent developments in the train journey that takes tourists from Beijing to Lhasa .
Aussie Author, Brian Lawrenson, has just released his 24th title. They are all in the travel genre. These are the stories about his own travels as he has visited more than 70 countries. The titles include eleven titles in the popular Silk Road Series. The other books include: The Secrets of the Terracotta Warriors, Beijing City of Emperors, China Silk Road Adventures, Istanbul and Travels in Turkey, Journey from Venice, Syria and Jordan Adventures, The Golden Road to Samarkand and the I Love Lukla Club, a story of trekking in the Himalayas.
Brian comments, "One of the benefits of eBooks over printed books is that changes and updates can be made easily. Recently a number of amendments have been made to the train service that includes the 48 hour train trip to Lhasa. Travel is about experiencing the best that each country has to offer and the latest mode of transport offers new experiences for travellers." Concluding his remarks, Brian said. "Visiting the Potala Palace in Lhasa is still one of the highlights of a tour to Tibet. There are few buildings in the world that leaves the visitor so moved."
Brian's books are part of the 700,000 title library available on Kindle and the list is growing every day. Apart from there being easy to read as the Amazon's Kindle reader uses the sensational all-new, high-contrast E ink screen, the new version of the reader has better battery life, lighter weight, and lower price. The capacity of the reader has also been enhanced, now offering storage for up to 3,500 books. The built-in Wi-Fifeature makes shopping easy and books can be downloaded in less than 60 seconds directly to the Kindle without the need to download via a computer. All of which makes the reader to the top of the e-book reader category.
All of the e Books in the Silk Road series can be read on a Kindle, iPhone, iPad, PC, Mac, Android device, and BlackBerry.
Explaining the changes made to the book Brian commented, "My original story about our visit to Lhasa took place in a beat-up, rusty and ancient Chinese bus. The road conditions from Kathmandu in Nepal to Lhasa were horrific but somehow we overcame the obstacles and we arrived in Lhasa on day three, a little dusty, effected by the high altitude and ready for a good meal. Contrasting this with the new travel on a high speed train makes this an interesting story."
Just like the other books in the series, travel enthusiasts will find this eBook a gripping and fascinating tale.
