3. Fearlessly follow-up. Social media outlets may make it easier in some ways
, but it's still not easy. It takes diligent effort to engage a community, keep them there through your event, and then re-engage them after the event is over to gather feedback. The ability to follow-up is a huge benefit and one that can't be easily replicated in the face-to-face world. Do this well and getting feedback about what could have been done better, what worked well, and what to do next time could go from a pool of 50 to a pool of 500.
