Pillar candles come in square, rectangular or cylindrical shapes. These candles are quite large and have patterns and are inscribed many times.

So you many wonder how you decorate your home with these candle types. Each of these candles can be used in many different ways. You can place the candles by themselves on a shelf, side table or window sill. You can also place these candles within decorative holders and set them on fireplace mantles or in the middle of any table. Candles look very nice when they are hung on a wall as well. Tea lights look wonderful when placed in a decorative bowl filled with water.

Pillar candles look great when they are contained within any attractive dish and filled along side with nuts, fruit or flowers. Keep in mind that you don't need to use one candle in just one particular spot. You can cluster many different styles of candles to create a nice array of colors while creating a beautiful decorative display.

Many times, the candle holder will draw in as much attention as the candle itself. Candle holders do not need to be expensive. You can make your own candle holders out of items you have within your home. Things like colorful bottles, napkin rings, and old pots and pans work well. By using your imagination, you can get very creative with your candle holders.

Candles are excellent when you want to add a nice finishing touch. You can create a mood of relaxation or one of romance. Never limit your many uses of candles. Use candles all through your home and you will quickly be able to see the amazing impact they have with your home decor and just how much they offer to any room.
