Using The Law of Attraction - Why Is There A Delay

Many people who are beginners at using the Law of Attraction get frustrated at first. The things they desire to have in their life seem to take a long time to appear. If you are following all the teachings of the leading Law of Attraction practitioners, then there should not be any delay. Should there? Does that mean you are doing something wrong? Not necessarily, as this article shows.

There are two reasons why a delay, especially when you are just starting out in your Law of Attraction practice, is not necessarily a bad thing. Let's look at both now.

First, you need to remember that the Law of Attraction is real, and it is always working. You have always been using it, all your life. Until now, though, you have not always been using it in ways that were beneficial to you. The Law of Attraction responds to the energy you put out on a habitual or regular basis, and this energy is associated with the type of thoughts which you have most of the time. Often these thoughts occur against your will and your better judgment. But you have them all the same.

Now that you have decided to use the Law of Attraction to bring about positive changes, you are ready to be more in control than before of your thoughts and emotions. But to achieve a measure of control takes some practice. Until you have done this, your thoughts will contain many random elements, which will hinder your focus on the life you desire. This will mean that your power to attract that life will not be great enough to bring it about so quickly. But with patience and perseverance, you will achieve it.

This is a perfectly natural process, and it is not something you should be worried about.

The second reason why delay is not necessarily a bad thing, is that it gives you time to develop your focus on the things and situations you really want. It would be rather difficult to cope with a life in which every fleeting thought you had, suddenly popped into existence instantly. It is much better that the universe responds to those thoughts and emotions which you have regularly and intensely, what we often call your "dominant vibration." It will respond to this, and not to your most random thoughts.

We see from this that the delay, far from being a bad thing, is actually something to be blessed, something to be rejoiced in. You can spend this waiting time in eager anticipation of the joyful experiences which are coming your way.
