Definition of article- An article is a written piece of information relating any topic, which either could be printed or published over the Net. The topics could range from art to science, technology to research, education to current affairs and many. It depends upon the writer how and how much information needs to be given to the readers to refer to it. Writing is a word that spreads on a wider range and probably the shortest of articles could even serve as complete written pieces, given some informative data is provided. Article writing needs to be done in the most impartial or unbiased way so that when a reader is reading it, he does not feel that a particular aspect or group is favored over the rest, until and unless the article written specifically focuses upon highlighting a particular group. They as well could be categorized based upon the genre they been written. Some of them are written particularly for journals and some for magazines, or the Internet. Probably the kind of writing which seems to be the most fascinating is the creative writing' and it is here that the writer gets all the freedom to offer personal views upon a specific topic and there are no set rules to be followed.

Content based articles- There are numerous types of matter that could be found. Variety in them is one fascinating thing to observe and for enthusiasts, it is one busy activity to get involved in. There are writers who specialize in a specific genre and in some of the technical writings a proper format has to be adhered to. There are some individuals who are full time involved into writing whilst there are others who work as freelancers.

Feature writing- If you take a look at a magazine, you'd be able to see there are particular sections provided to various topics upon which matter is offered. There is one section devoted to sports, health, beauty, relationships, medical assistance and much more. There are some areas where articles could be found relating all the happenings that are taking place in today's world.

Filler- More often than not, there are tiny spaces that need to be filled with some sentences. Editors would not want to see even the smallest of space go waste where some interesting matter could otherwise be added. Therefore, whichever form of information you find over the Net or in newspaper or a magazine, the sole purpose of any article remains is to stimulate interest in readers.
