A lot of little girls dream of becoming a doctor or a nurse

. These little girls grow but do not forget their child dreams and become medics; some of them even go further and become pediatricians. But they sometimes make a very big mistake, for a dream sometimes should stay a dream.

Pediatrician Is an Honorable Profession.

People think that being pediatrician means being very kind and helpful to kids. People regard this profession as very honorable since these doctors cure children; make them feel better, sometimes save their lives. Of course, future pediatricians understand the responsibility and study really hard to become a good children doctor. But they do not see the other side of the profession. What is it?

Being a Pediatrician Can Be Stressful and Frustrating.

Pediatricians very often see the suffering of ill children. Unfortunately, they have to witness childrens death. Sometimes doctors should cause pain to children to make them feel better. Sometimes doctors see that childs death is inevitable, and have to watch the child dying. Some people are strong enough to live this through. Of course, they do worry and do all they can, but they have strength to witness the death and move on. They are able to hurt child to cure him/her.

But some people are not that strong. They suffer too much. And the result is never good. Some of such people become too nervous and frustrated, they lose their skills and, finally, quit. But some of such people become too nervous and it makes them strict and even mean. Such pediatricians become quite rude with children, and this is unacceptable, since children, especially ill children, need care and kindness.

What is the way out? Before deciding to become a children doctor, think whether you are able to stand all those frustrating things properly. Ask yourself whether you will be a good pediatrician.
