Veggie Meal Plans - Did Following The Plan Help Me Shed the Pounds

My main goals when embarking on Easy Veggie Meal Plans was that:

1. It should help me lose weight in a healthy manner.

2. Any recipes should be easy to make and not take all day.


3. The ingredients shouldn't cost the Earth - in fact I was looking for cheap food in a hurry.

4. I wanted more energy. Was it a big ask? Perhaps.

So it has been over a month and the results are in. To be honest the first few days were a bit of a struggle. The food was surprisingly cheap and easy to make, but there were a few ingredients that I had to go to the health food store for. I know I'm lazy, but I was hoping it would all be at the supermarket. Still it wasn't much extra time out of my day and once my body had started to adjust to a healthier diet things became much easier.

I had the added motivation of knowing that by following the veggie meal plans I was not contributing to any of the factory farming that I am very uneasy with. Trust me once you know it is great motivation!

After the first few days my energy levels began to pick up dramatically and it may sound silly, but I felt much cleaner and lighter. I had a few spots that seemed to be my body getting rid of some toxins, but once they cleared up in the second week my skin was clearer than before.

I liked the way the veggie meal plans were laid out so that I knew exactly what to eat at what time on what day and the food I made following the recipes was delicious - even if I do say so myself. Of course there is plenty of room for flexibility if you want it, but I liked a bit of order.

I promised myself I wouldn't weight myself until after 30 days. That was hard! But when I did weigh myself I had lost a stone, which I was so happy with. I don't have any desire to go back to my previous unhealthy diet. Ihave a sweet tooth, but there are healthier ways to satisfy that. That is one of thethings I learntfollowingthe Veggie Meal Plans.

It is not aregular diet, but more a way of lifeand that appealed to me.
