With the elimination of gonorrhea has gone the host of complications, including infected tubes and prostate glands and infected sex organs, with accompanying sterility. Gonorrheal arthritis, a terrible disabling and crippling disease, is so infrequent that it is hardly suspected in making a diagnosis.

Pharyngeal gonorrhea (in the mouth and throat) may produce a sore throat; rectal gonorrhea occasionally causes discomfort in the area around the anus and a slight discharge.

Venereal warts will grow easily in this area because it is moist and warm. This makes it a perfect environment for it to grow in. Women will find that pregnancy will cause many outbreaks. Also the newborn is at risk for contracting the STD while coming out of the birth canal while it is infected.

The rise of STD Diseases are becoming very prevalent in the country and the world over that it has come to the point where it is now quite alarming. The most prevalent among these diseases is Chlamydia. It is an STD that is caused by the bacteria Chlamydia trachomatis. It is a disease that is known to not show symptoms until it has progressed to a certain point which makes it difficult to detect and treat. If it does show symptoms, the common signs are increase in vaginal discharge for women, a watery discharge from the male genitalia in men, pain during urination, and discomfort during intercourse.

Herpes - this is a virus caused by the Herpes simplex virus type 1 & 2. Most individuals have minimum or no symptoms at all. When signs occur it is usually blisters around the genitals or rectum. Once the blisters break they leave sores that take between two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. An outbreak can appear weeks or months after the initial one, but it is usually less severe and shorter in time than the first outbreak.
