Built in 1836 it suspends 250 feet high and 702 feet long. It gracefully spans the avon gorge between Clifton and Leigh woods. As a pedestrian there is no charge to cross it and the views are exceptional. There is an opportunity to donate money by purchasing a yellow button in order to keep the bridge maintained. There is a visitor centre which explains the history of the bridge and you have the opportunity to buy books and postcards.

Bristol has become and up and coming place to live and work. There are plenty of Work opportunities both full time and part time, particularly seasonal Jobs in the tourist areas. There are several Intenet Job boards and Job sites that advertise vacancies in Bristol and surrounding areas.
