Instead you want to focus on selling the BENEFIT of the product or service you are offering - how it meets a need, solves a problem, provides a solution, eliminates a pain or aggravation, etc.
3) Not Thoroughly Testing & Measuring - there are two applications to this a) it is important what you put out on the web is working - links working, auto-responder, payment process, etc b) that the strategy you are going to use is effective. It is better to test and make sure you are getting the traffic response and a good conversion rate before invest too much money or time. You need to test and measure.
4) Becoming Discouraged - I believe the reason most people fail is they quit too soon. Make up your mind you are going stay positive and committed to the vision/dream you have for your own online business. Make sure to make adjustments along the way and avoid the other mistakes. Enjoy the journey!
