I was a complete newbie when it came to Internet marketing and decided to buy Wealthy Affiliate. I was impressed with the amount of training options and tools available. I used the built-in Wordpress website builder and initially things were going well. I came to a halt when it was time to make the site look more professional and sort out all the fiddly bits to make the site run smoothly. The fact of the matter was, I not a web designer and have ended up having to pay someone to get my site looking the way I want it to. This is after adding a lot of content and working out how to use Wordpress, which can take some time. And this is before doing any of the crucial work, which is the Marketing component.
I recommend newbies get as much free Internet Marketing information as possible before committing to any paid membership sites or software. If you are completely new to Internet marketing it's common to not earn anything for 3-4 months while paying a relatively high price for education. And that's not taking into account any hardware or software you may need to get off the ground.
I an glad I made the decision to buy Wealthy Affiliate, but in hindsight, I should have done a lot more homework, learned the absolute basics first, and had an idea of what I wanted to market.
