Do you have pictures to sell but are not sure if they make the grade? There are ways of getting your photos in front of a large audience while at the same time having members of this same audience critique your work for free. There are many sites out there in cyber land that allow you to post your images for free and the members are more than happy to critique the work for you. In addition to posting images, these sites also allow you to blog, enter groups within the group, and participate in almost daily contests or challenges. All of these are great excercises for improving your skills and getting some feedback on your work.
Although most of the sites that I belong to tend to cater to the art of photography, many of them also except graphic arts, film, and even writing. Some of the sites even allow for you to post pictures for sale.
The other attractive thing about these sites is that many of them have an international flavor which allows you to see images not just from your country or region but from countries all around the world. For the most part the members are friendly and are happy to give free advise on everything from equipment to technique to travel locations.
.
I am a member of several of these sites and it's where I post some of the photos that I like to share with friends but also have an interest in marketing or exposing. If I have a technical question or any question in particular I ask the forum or one of my individual "friends" and usually someone has an answer or they can send me in the right direction.
