Do you really have to give up your favorite meal - cake, ice cream, and potato chips - just to lose weight? Good news is, yes, you have to, i.e. if you really, really, really want to be healthy and fit again.
Now, before you get discouraged, I am not telling you not to eat. You just have to eat right.
It's true that ice cream, cake, potato chips, sodas make you fat. They're high in calories and very unhealthy for your body. It's only logical to avoid these foods that make you fat and you will consequently lose weight because you controlled what's coming in.
A healthy weight loss diet not only excludes high calorie foods; it includes WATER!
Drinking plenty of water is a natural therapy to losing weight. Drink two (2) to three (3) liters per day, spread during the entire day. Use the toilet as often if you must. It helps keep your metabolism running smoothly.
Another thing to include in your diet is FIBER.
What are the sources of fiber? Fruits and vegetables! These should be taken before every meal or with every meal if you prefer. They give you the proper nutrition, giving you a feeling of fullness. If you eat more of these and less the caloric foods, you will definitely lose weight naturally!
What is the role of PROTEIN in your healthy weight loss diet?
While fiber helps in digestion, proteins aid in metabolism. If your metabolism runs smoothly, you won't accumulate those fats.
Of course, any healthy weight loss diet program would include EXERCISE! You have to move your body. It doesn't have to be heavy lifting and heavy work out stuff. You can do walking, stretching, running, jogging, even dancing, etc. Just move naturally!
