Warlock Pvp Build Some Considerations And Tips
As a Warlock, you are the master of the demonic powers of flame and shadow
. You use this power to send your opponents from across the field to their graves. If you're rolling a PvP character, a good Warlock PvP build would make youre Warlock an enemy to contend with.
{The Best Talent Spec For PvPing}
There's no such thing as a bad spec for a Warlock focusing on PvP, although there are some really good builds that wrap around the core abilities of the class. When choosing a build, it is always best to keep in mind the role that you are planning to fill in groups and the talents you wish to strengthen for combat. Also, try to be as consistent as you can with your gears and styles since this could definitely enhance or diminish the affectivity of your chosen build.
Warlock talent trees are versatile enough to allow the creation of a number of builds suitable for PvPing. But again, your play style is a prime consideration. If you're used to playing hit and run, you're best suited with going deep into the Affliction talent tree. If you enjoy nuking your opponents from a distance, the Destruction tree will provide you sufficient number of talents to deliver massive damage to your enemies. Alternatively, you can go down the Demonology path and create a killing machine out of your pet.
{General Tips}
While a Warlock PvP may prove to be a complex character, you will soon learn that there are a few tricks that could come in handy for each of the talents trees.
{Affliction Warlock}
In PvP mode, the Affliction Warlock depends mostly on DoTs and keeping a safe distance from his enemies. This may sound like a tactic taken straight from a comic book but it is actually once that works well.
When battling with other PvP players, this tactic is executed by simply casting DoT spells and watching their effects on the enemy. You need not close in your enemy to ensure your win. Running away from your opponents will help ensure your victory better. Even if your enemy lives to catch you, you can always cast Fear to chase it away.
{Destruction Warlock}
The Destruction Warlock keeps a few extremely powerful spells up its sleeves. Take the Improved Shadow Bolt, for instance. It's at Tier one only and you can already enhance the damage inflicted by your Shadow bolt spell by as much as 5%. The Destruction talent tree also offers the Shadowburn, which is quite arguably among the top reasons why many players take this route, as well as Shadowfury and the insanely powerful Soul Leech.
{Demonology Warlock}
Finally is the Demonology talent tree which offers one of the class's trademarks minions or pers. With a warrior-like demon working for you, who could stand against you? The idea with any Demonology Warlock PvP build is not really to create a powerful caster, but to create the strongest demon. You can of course enhance your own character on the side using this tree.
