But then Rosario once again waves the contract in Isadora's face, the two have a vicious spat resulting in both women running off, and the film returns to its comfort zone of a minimally sympathetic voyeurism.
The plot of the film really isn't that bad even for a movie aimed at entertaining children. Kitty Galore (Bette Midler) was a former MEOWZ agent who was pushed into a vat of permanent hair remover by a dog and came out looking like, what her new owner Chuck the Magician describes as a "raw chicken." I say new owners because her old owners kicked her out of the house and into the snow on Christmas Day. From that point forward, she vowed to take revenge on humans and dogs alike.
Kitty is pretty much working by herself to rid the human population of man's best friend but the DOGZ agency lays its hopes on a new recruit, Diggs (James Marsden) and his veteran partner Butch (Nick Nolte). Together they must put their differences and prejudices about cats behind them to team up with Catherine (Christina Applegate) from MEOWZ (do I really need to tell you she's a cat?). They only have a few hours to figure what Kitty wants with Seamus the pigeon (Katt Williams), find her hideout and keep her dastardly plan from succeeding.
The movie's visual effects are really good and only a couple of times did I see the animals' mouths not move right to their speech. Director Brad Peyton has done a great job of understanding what his target audience enjoys and gives it to them without resorting to dumbed down poop jokes. There are a couple of dog butt sniffing jokes (to be expected) which amused all the kids in my theater to no end. There was one pee joke that felt out of place and could have been left out but overall the movie is well paced and the story well told.Netwebsite.In Is A Free Movies Website Where You Can Watch Full Movie Free.
