The woman was slashed to death by the black smoke. This scene did not make sense and not worth the effort to figure out. Other than where did they find the box?

Det. Sanders comes into the picture after the reading of the will, where the Naiberts inherit the estate, with one request, that they remain in the home for the weekend unchaperoned. The brothers invite friends to keep them company and it ends tragically with one person left. That person called the police and Det. Sanders was on the scene and it is through the retelling of the weekends events the viewer sees what happened to the Naiberts and their guests at Grandmothers house.

It didnt take long before weird stuff began to happen and houseguest began disappearing into thin air. Grandmother Rebecca was not finished with her grandchildren; she had had a tender moment with Elizabeth that quickly escalated into something horrible. She left Elizabeth a key and told her to explore the house for a box. What Elizabeth found in the box was unleashed and the end more secrets are shared and only one person was left standing.

My favorite kill scene involves brother sitting on the toilet after crazy goings on had started. He taps the side of the toilet and says, its just a toilet, just a toilet and seconds later a noise from the toilet has him jumping up and turned around facing it like it was a toilet monster. A gurgling sound has him leaning over and then being sucked into the toiletah ha, just a toilet indeed. As the viewer, I could hear each of his bones breaking as he went in face first and the last being his pointed bloody feet sucked down in fast swoop.
