3. Wooden structures touching the soil: Remember to have a barrier between the soil
and any wooden structures. Best option to make such a barrier would be concrete; however, sand is also a good option. Just in case you need to have wooden structures like a deck or a shed touching the soil, then make sure to at least treat the wood that is closest to the ground with some form of chemical that will help prevent termites.
