We Must Start Winning By Being Honest With Ourselves

We must start no matter what by being honest with ourselves. The consequences are the best that way. If you are ready for that self honesty, read the rest of this article. It is for you. Sure, I could say it is for me in a direct way, but although it is for me also, I am writing it so that you can benefit too. That is an honest statement. So when I say in the title that we must start winning by being honest with ourselves, I mean all of us who genuinely want to win in all areas of life that do count. Not just me, not just you, I mean everyone who genuinely wants to do their best. Sure life is a game of sorts, but if we do not play it well, we lose, if we play it well, we win. That goes for any game though. From checkers, to pool, to all of life.

Dishonesty is not a "short cut" no matter how it may subjectively seem to some in their lives. Honesty is both the ultimate "short cut", "clear shot" and "long cut" there is to getting, giving or winning anything. All real loss comes from dishonesty and genuine wrong use of resources.

Sure, I could make this a "flower filled" and "sweet sounding" article full of big words, and not so obvious talk. But I would be depriving you of that honest ultimate value that is within all of my articles which is the reality of the situation and all of the situations. The real poverty comes from dodging honesty and reality, the real riches come from fully facing reality with all its "warts" and all, even the good things. So, that brings me to a point, thought makes us what we want to be when we use it honestly, and what we do not need to be when used dishonestly. What do I mean by that point? Well, I mean this: When we are honest it is all of the things we want and need genuinely, although it will take time usually and patience to implement those things. While dishonesty is everything we do not need, let alone everything we do not want. Dishonesty should be discarded, and is discarded by intelligent people who do use their intelligence genuinely. The genuine use of intelligence does not require smartness by the way, it requires honesty, the honest use of resources, especially of the mind, body, soul and spirit. This is reality and that is the honest truth of the matter, I end there. Think for yourself about the rest.
