For 22 years, Karl Bessey worked in the coal mines of Utah. Coal mining is dangerous, filthy work, but Bessey bad a young family to support and he did what he had to do.
However, after a few devastating accidents, Bessy knew he had had enough. He didn't just want to support his family, he wanted to live long enough to enjoy them. And he certainly didn't want to "retire" on a measly mining pension only to have to give up his time in another job.
So Bessey went looking for the "something better" he knew was out there. Even after working a long shift and commuting an hour each way, he spent a bit of time every day researching and trying to find a better life for himself and his family.
Even after trying two MLM companies that didn't stack up, Bessey didn't quit. Instead he found another company and this time, he found one with a solid business model and fair compensation plan that he could ride right out of his work in the mines.
But even that wasn't enough. It isn't in Karl Bessey's nature to decide that things are "good enough" and then kick up his feat. Instead, he kept looking for the next opportunity and at this point, he was looking for the next opportunity to help people, after having built downlines of 10,000 people and more in his other endeavors.
In 1999, Bessey met former Wall Street money manager
Kip Herriage. The two were impressed with each other and kept in touch. In 2004, Herriage had the idea for a fantastic business use the network marketing business model to sell financial planning services that anyone could use to manage and create real wealth for themselves.
Between Herriage's money smarts and Bessey's network marketing smarts, Wealth Masters was born in 2005 and has gone on to become one of the fastest-growing top-tier network marketing companies in the country.
