Webinars Vs. Websites - What Is The Buzz With Webinars?

It has been stated that webinars are the most underrated business model on the internet ever

, but it seems a lot of people aren't doing them. They are focusing more on building websites rather than embracing this huge opportunity that is available with webinars. The question is why?

Let us get to the main reason why people don't do webinars.

It is all to do with people thinking it is far too complicated for them to do. To be honest, you can quite easily set one up in 5 minutes. You only need to go through a few steps which are easy to follow and turn up with the audience at the appropriate time.

The problem is that you don't even know if your product is going to be a success or not. It could be a dud, and you would have wasted all that time and effort into building that site let alone the costs. Can you just imagine how long it takes to set up a website?

If you are a non-techie like me, going down geek street learning all that HTML puts my head in a spin!

Why webinars though?

Hosting a webinar is cheaper, faster and more leveraged than a traditional website. More importantly, you can get 10 times more sales with a really powerful webinar.

Whether it is automated or live, 10% would be the absolute minimum conversion you can expect with webinars. However, you must make sure that you over deliver with whatever you've promised in your presentation. Another thing, your offer has to be related to the topic of your webinar.

With a website it is a known that they only converts around 1% which is considered as good. So, really comparing this to a webinar is a no brainer. Webinars win hands down.

There have even been reports of people receiving conversions in excess of 50% and making a lot of money, even from beginners!

Also, you can see that each email on your database is worth a lot more if you hold regular webinars. Simply because it is personal, interactive, live in many cases, and people get a sense of the host's personality. Thus, the passion is much more powerful, leveraged and believable.

Remember, websites still have their place on the web it is just that if you compare it with webinars, there is no comparison. Together, you have a great combination for your online business.
