Dating is a substance made up of many different layers. The way in which we conduct ourselves through these layers will determine just how successful we are at breaking these layers down.

The first layer is the dating layer. The way in which we portray ourselves on the first date is crucial to how successful we will be in the rest of the layers. We need to give off the right impression; we need to demonstrate that we are able to be confident in our own ability and interesting. There are no certain ways to do this but it is important that we give ourselves the best chance.

Dress well and remain interesting throughout the first encounter and you will give yourself a good chance. Don't talk about heavy or deep topics, not on the first date anyway. Make sure that your first date is all about electricity and excitement. A graze of the hand or an accidental interruption of each other is always a good thing. Sometimes it can be hard to attain, but all the same we try.

The second layer is only accessible to those that have negotiated the first layer. This layer is the relationship starter. We need to have built a rapport with the girl we are seeing, and then once a relationship has started need to maintain this rapport. Remain confident and happy to see her at all times and you will give yourself a great chance of maintaining a healthy positive relationship.

Treat her as if it is the very first day you have met. Not in terms of conversation or being shy, but make her feel like every day she spends with you is bliss. Make her feel like a million dollars and you will reap the rewards. Your relationship will be long and blissful. You will appreciate each other and you will both have the time of your lives.

The final layer of the layer cake is being able to meet her friends. Meeting of the friends and family is the icing on the cake for most women. If you get on well with them you are on the road to victory. The trouble is you cannot like all of her friends and family. And when this happens you need to lie through your teeth. Never have a problem with one of her friends it only leads to bad things. Even more so with the family, it cannot be awkward when you are around them.

Remember all these layers and pass them with flying colours and your life and relationship will be strong and healthy.
