Westchester County Honda Cr-v Dealer Pleased With Company-wide Sales Bump In June

Apparently all those incentives offered by automakers were successful

. Many posted record sales in the spring and early summer months and Honda is the latest to announce a large sales increase in June. Westchester County Honda CR-V dealers couldnt be more pleased.

Honda Motor Company announced that its sales for June in the United States were up 6.2 percent to 106,627 over the 100,420 sold in June of 2009. The companys total car sales had an increase of 7.8 percent, up to 62,229, and their total truck sales jumped by 3.9 percent to 44,398 vehicles.

This is hardly surprising given the recent resurgence of the auto sales in the United States and all the hype and incentives offered to customers. In fact, for the first time in my memory (and we wont say how long that it), new vehicle purchases are cheaper than used in many cases. Hondas rival Toyota posted some record sales in April and May after offering massive incentives to help the company recover from car recall woes. It was successful and that atmosphere appears to be prevalent, although some of the deals have begun to evaporate in the summer sun and industry experts say your time is running out if you want the best deal possible.

Many auto manufacturers have offered five years worth of zero percent financing something unheard of until the auto industry hit the toilet a couple of years ago. It may have stimulated the lagging economy and helped get some automakers back in the black, but it was mainly a boon for consumers.

Honda is definitely not complaining, as the brand sales for June increased four percent to 95,788 vehicles. Acura brand sales (Hondas premium brand) were up an impressive 30.9 percent to 10,839 units. Westchester County Honda CR-V customers were able to take advantage of great savings and many incentives are still ongoing.

Hondas many popular models like the Accord and CR-V have helped it stay on top in the industry. For 2011 Honda has revamped some of its models like the Odyssey mini van. The Odyssey has been given the cool factor with added technology and entertainment systems, a wider second row to accommodate three child safety seats and a sleeker body style to make mom and dad more likely to drive it.

Westchester County used Honda Accord customers also will be pleased with the great selection of pre-owned Honda models on the lot and can be assured of driving away in an affordable vehicle that will meet their lifestyle needs.

So perhaps the auto industry has learned from the last couple of years and will continue to give us what we demand quality rides at prices that allow us to still go out for dinner occasionally.
