What Are The Features Of Different Beneficiation Plants?
In general, there are four types of Beneficiation Plants
, that is, Flotation Beneficiation Plant, Gravity Beneficiation Plant, Magnetic Beneficiation Plant and Combination Beneficiation Plant. The features of these four types are demonstrated as follows:
Flotation Beneficiation Plant
Brief Introduction: Raw materials are crushed with explosion. Then they are sent to Ball Mill for being pulverized and ground. The discharged products enter the Classifier for being separated. While powder with unsuitable size is discharged and sent back to Ball Mill for being re-ground, the suitable ones enter Flotation System. There some medicaments are added. The Flotation System makes our materials separated from others. After concentration and filter pressing, the final products are discharged.
Application: Copper ore, Zinc Ore, Lead ore, Nickel ore, Gold ore, ferrous metals and Non-ferrous metals.
Features:
1.Large inhaling capacity and low energy consumption.
2.Complete flotation circuit with inhaling air and slurry, no auxiliares are needed.
3.Process is easy to be charged.
4.Reasonable circulation of slurry decreases coarse sand sedimentation.
5.Automatic controlling device makes adjustment more convenient.
Gravity Beneficiation Plant
Brief Introduction: Gravity separation has proved the most reliable and acceptable technique of minerals concentration and has been used as a primary form of minerals concentration. Due to its high efficiency and low cost, gravity separation is always the first choice in any program, and moreover it features in any flowsheet where there are sufficient differences between the specific gravity and particle size of the valuable and gangue minerals.
Application: Tungsten ore, tin ore, manganese ore, mercury ore, titanium ore, lead ore, titanium niobium ore, galena ore, celestite, barite, fluorspar, pyritic, limonite, hematite, antimony ore, chrome ore, etc.
Features:
1.Great ratio of high-grade ore, efficient separating, easy operation, easy to adjust the stroke.
2.Strong wear resistance of the working surface.
3.Anti-chemical corrosion, acid and alkali.
4.Strong resistance to harsh environment.
Magnetic Beneficiation Plant
Brief Introduction: Magnetic Separation separates the minerals according to the magnetic intensity differences in non-uniform magnetic field. The separation of ferrous minerals: magnetic separation is the main processing way of iron ore. After processed, the ore grade is improved, and the content of detrimental impurity is reduced, which has a good effect on metallurgy smelting. The separation of nonferrous and rare minerals: many nonferrous and rare minerals have different magnetic intensity. Neither gravity separation nor flotation separation has a good beneficiation effect, but if magnetic separation and gravity are combined, flotation separation will have a good grade. The recycling of gravity separation medium: the magnetite and the ferrosilicon are the medium in gravity separation. To protect crushers and other equipment, iron impurities should be removed from non-metallic mineral raw materials. Iron removing is very common in nonmetallic mineral processing. Dry magnetic separation is widely used to process Kyanite, quartz, red tourmaline, feldspar, nepheline diorite. The recycling of steel slag from the metallurgy smelting and the pollutant removed from sewage: there is a great deal of steel slag in the metallurgy smelting. The steel slag can be recycled by dry grinding and dry magnetic separation.
Application: Iron ore, tin, chromium, manganese, niobium and tantalum, rare earth, industrial minerals, heavy mineral sands, garnet, phosphate, heavy media separation, recycling.

Combination Beneficiation Plant
Brief Introduction: Raw ore is sent into Jaw Crusher for the primary crushing. Then discharged materials of which the size suits the feeder of Ball Mill is sent regularly by Vibrating Feeder to the Ball Mill for being crushed and ground, and then enters the next stage for being separated. Spiral Classifier is used to clean mud and classify mixed mineral according to the different grains with different specific gravities and sedimentation rates in liquid. The classified mineral grains are separated by Magnetic Separator. The magnetic materials are sent to tailings ponds. The medium-size grains excluding the magnetic materials are sent into Jigger for being separated, and other materials are classified once again. The large-size grains are ground and then classified, and the classified materials are separated and dewatered. Finally they are concentrated for being separated.
Application: The ferrous metals, such as manganese ore, iron ore, copper ore and so on.
