MLM marketing is also called network marketing, direct selling and referral marketing. This is the marketing structure design to compensate its members by the products they sold, creating a down line of other distributors and have multiple levels of compensations as they introduce more people to the company.

MLM is not new in the market; they only change some rules and the way how goods and services are sold. Many have tried the business and most of them failed. They even failed in spite of the excellent products they are offering.

When the multi-level marketing business grows; it is said to be the "fad of the future" a business that is gaining in popularity, being accepted by many and will replace the other forms of marketing and sales.

Products are usually marketed directly to consumers and potential business partners by means of referral or word of mouth. One has to fine a more efficient and profitable way to distribute goods and services to provide a lasting value to its stockholders, employees, distributors and consumers. But many still failed after several attempts.

Selling is part of the company that contributes to profit and all the other parts contribute to cost. Always be proud that you are selling a very good product and believe its contribution to your consumers. Reflect pride on what you are doing to your customers, associates, family and friends.

One of the core values in life is FREEDOM and it should be incorporated in your MLM marketing. With desire for freedom it will attract customers and prospects to your MLM program no matter where you are.

MLM companies is frequent subjects to controversy and target to lawsuits due to criticism that they are similar to illegal pyramid schemes, products price fixing, high startup costs, recruitment of sales persons, requiring sales people to purchase and use company's products and use of unimaginable techniques to enhance its members devotion. But not all MLM companies use these techniques and they persistently claim that they do legitimate business practice.

Independent distributors expand their business by building an active customer base, who buys products directly from the company or by recruiting several independent distributors as their down line. Distributors can also earn profit by retailing products that they purchased from the company at a whole sale price and sold them in retail prices.

MLM marketing puts more emphasis in recruiting distributors than on selling products. MLM is a very attractive business deal because it promises wealth and independence to all aspect of life.
