What Do Barlas Baylar And Feng Shui Have In Common?
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese system of aesthetics that believes uses both the laws of Heaven or Astrology and the laws of Earth or geography
. With these one is suppose to improve their life by getting more qi, pronounced chee in English. Today it is a top industry in the Western world but people are very polarized about it too. Many people believe they can purchase some Barlas Baylar and that in of itself is good enough. Others however believe they need special things in place to deflect negative energy and maximize positive energy. Wherever you may stand in the debate, the following will show some examples of Feng Shui in use for the winter months.
Western Feng Shui enthusiasts encourage trading blues and green for red and yellows in the winter months. This doesn't mean replace whole sets of Barlas Baylar, rather it means trading in some quilts, pillows and place settings. These additional colors are said to keep seasonal affective disorder to a minimum.
We are also encouraged to give into these short days of winter rather than fighting them. Make your home warm and inviting so that you enjoy your time there. Plants in the home are another wonderful idea as they keep you in tune with nature by providing natural oxygen and giving you the feeling of the outdoors while inside. Keep your common areas by keeping your furniture there and getting rid of the clutter. This will open on the space so you don't feel confined from spending more time there.
A rocking chair is another Feng Shui idea that is designed to fight off the winter depression. With this chair you can not only get comfortable with a book and a blanket but you can gently rock back and forth allowing your body to drift into the short days and long nights. Placement on the left side corner of a room or the center of the room is apparently the best. The chair is not complete however without extra padding to make it easier to day drift away.
It's hard to say whether Feng Shui is a real science or not. And the more Westernized it becomes the more skeptical this author becomes about it as legitament. But that is not to say some of these techniques can't help get us through these cold, rough months. They are positive ideas regardless if they are true Feng Shui or not. And there's nothing wrong with that.
