Your system is probably the most critical aspect of the system. If you have all your installation CDs and original software programs with you, its easy enough to have them reinstalled. System recovery backup also works in most cases if the system crashes. But you cant really have the guarantee that once a system crashes and you switch to the system backup that theres not going to be any defects. Think of it as going to have your knees surgically replaced and although you can get back the function of your knees, you cant be good as new again.

Media files and apps

Application data like e-mails, calendars, contacts or browser bookmarks also have to be stored on a server backup as well as the media files (videos, photos, and music), which can take up a lot of space. You need a storage device that can handle huge amount of data and this could be very expensive particularly since companies are now shifting to the paperless office. That means data and documents are now converted into digital format.

But as businesses try to come up with some solutions to the problem, they are confronted with some challenges. For example, how do you commence with the backup without necessarily stopping the operations of your business? In case of laptops, if your workers are using these mobile devices how can you guarantee that the tasks wont be affected while the laptops are quarantined for backup? Without server backup for big businesses, the number of workers taking up bandwidth along with the large data on the system will create a gridlock that can slow down your operations
