What Hobbies Do You Have?

There are many things in life that can be considered a hobby. It all depends on how you look at it. Many people collect things, like coins, dolls, toys even removal boxes and spent cartridges. But hobbies do not only include collections, it can also be an activity like sport, or a craft like beading or candle making, or playing a game, in real life like a card game or on a console or computer like Tetris.

What is a hobby?

A hobby is an activity or some interest that you do for pleasure or relaxation, usually during your leisure time. In other words, it is something that you do for fun, not something you do to get paid.

If you make your living out of your hobby, you are one of the lucky ones. What are hobbies for some people may be considered as work for others, like cooking for instance. Cooking may be a chore for some people but can be a hobby for others.

The kind of hobby you take up is determined by the type of person you are. If you do not know what hobby would suit you, you can ask around or do some internet research. Maybe you would prefer to do quizzes online and not actually make something, like a cake or a candle or such. Then you'd love computer games and questionnaires. Other people like keeping their hands busy, so they take up embroidery or knitting, which is not just for women, by the way.

Building a jigsaw puzzle can be a hobby. The same goes for playing a sport, shooting pool or darts, building a model car or train. There are so much to choose from. Take painting for example, what do you want to paint on, what do you want to use to paint with, and already you have a lot of options.

Whatever you do, whether it is being creative or something you're collecting, it would suit you and your lifestyle. Use removal boxes to keep the collections and crafts out of sight. Take care of your activity clothing and wash those sweaty shirts and socks.
