The hps light inside the grow box serves as the artificial sunlight that helps plants inside the box with photosynthesis. Intake and exhaust fan is also installed to control the temperature inside the grow box since temperature also plays a vital role in the development of plants. Hydroponic system or water system is the one that gives the nutrients required by the plants inside a grow box. In addition, an odor control system is also installed to minimize the smell that comes with fertilizers and other composts stuff which is part of plant growing.

There are also advance grow box units that also includes air conditioning as well as CO2 generators. They have included in these installation to fully maximize the capacity of a hydroponic grow box. They use air conditioning to have better control over the temperature and keep running temperatures down. As for the CO2 generators, it increases CO2 level inside a grow box which assists the plant to use the excess water and energy that is stored in the leaves. As a result there is substantial increase in the growth rate of crops that uses chlorophyll in the process of photosynthesis with the help of CO2 generators installed inside a grow box.
