About Calcite:

This mineral is found in marble and limestone. It is a colorless, white mineral in its purest form. The mineral appears translucent, transparent, or opaque. The mineral is also found in several colors such as yellow, black, honey, red, brown pink, blue, or lavender. Due to its physical properties or better say qualities, it can easily be dissolved in certain materials. Though, it has a fine hardness level, it can be scratched with a help of a simple knife.
