The Bible is what it is. What is it? Its a letter. Let me let Jeremiah 31:3 unpack that thought. God is speaking here in Jeremiah. He says, I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness.

The Bible is what it is. Its a letter. Specifically, its a love letter. Isnt that amazing?

I took this love letter that Lisa wrote to me and I read it over and over again. I read it over and over again because she wrote it and she was crazy about me and she is crazy about me. She loves me. And I wanted to read something about me and especially it just fired me up to know that a girl loved me like she loved me.

What is the Bible? The Bible is a bunch of love letters. And the Bible is not sprayed with Charlie cologne, but its sprayed with the cologne of Christ.

The Bible has one villainSatan. It has one heroChrist. And one messageJesus saves. The Bible is all about love. I would tell you something that you need to think about. Do you know there is nothing that you could do or I could do right now that would cause God to love us less? Nothing. Thats how much God loves you and me. He loves us. Were on His mind 24/7. Hes crazy about us.

Do you know the psalmist said that, when we cry, God even collects our tears in a bottle? He knows how many tears that youve shed and Ive shed. Ed Young Church reminds us thats how much God loves you and me. He wants us, he desperately desires us to be under His authority, under His word, because He wants the best for us. He doesnt want us to have a good life or a decent life or a life thats above average. He wants us to discover the best. Well never reach, though, our ultimate position until we live a life of submission; submission to the word of God.

Gods love is tender. But notice, too, Gods love is also tough. Here is where I mess up. Here is what I have thought before in my , and maybe youre the same. Ive said this.
