Not many people have heard of the watermelon tourmaline jewelry

. People who are first exposed to this type of stone are usually mesmerized by its beauty. The color is just fascinating and people who are looking at it would ask what type of jewelry this is. It has a mixture of green and peach, pinkish color to it. Some people would say this is a bicolor gem, but it is not bicolor as it is just one color.

Unfortunately, watermelon tourmaline is not worth as much as a bicolor tourmaline.

The watermelon tourmaline has been sliced and polished, which decreases in quality as that is not natural. The price of the tourmaline is determined by the shade of color. Some people said that wearing this watermelon tourmaline gem has a calming effect. I am not too sure if that is true or just a psychological thing, but if it helps, then I guess it is worth wearing it. It would be interesting to do a research on the calming effect of watermelon tourmaline.
