What Is Your Success Number?
If you are struggling to make money online it might be a good idea to take a step back and look a little close at what you are doing
. I would like to suggest you get a success number in mind and we will talk a little bit about that in this article.
In his "Mental Toughness Blog" Steve Siebold recently had a cool video where he asked the question of what is enough? He was in Costa Rica hanging out with people who made very little money, yet were very happy.
I get emails every day from people who are struggling to make money. Not only are they not making enough money, most are not making any money at all.
Yet if you consider the people in Costa Rica money is not always the barometer for success. That may or may not be true in your own case.
For example, what is your success number when it comes to losing weight? You might not even be that concerned about trying to make money, yet you're not very happy because you're overweight.
Some people would like a little bit of recognition in their life. I've seen people involved in network marketing opportunities with the goal of nothing more than being recognized once in a while for their small amount of achievement.
O.K., let's talk a little bit about making money online. I can remember when I set a goal of making $10 a day on the Internet.
This didn't seem like a real big number, yet when I hit it I felt very successful. That made it very easy for me to set the next goal of earning $100 a day online.
A lot has been written about earning $100 a day online. This may not be enough to quit your job, and go full time online, but it is enough to change your lifestyle a part-time basis.
The other thing is when you get $100 a day online chances are you have developed a system for marketing on the Internet. You can then just rinse and repeat your processes until you're making $200 a day online, $300 a day online, and so on.
Maybe your number is turn $1000 a day online. I've had numerous days were I earned that in the past, but I've never consistently been able to do it over the course of one year.
This is a goal of mine that I have written down and pasted where I see it every day. It helps motivate me to work when I feel like slacking off at or not working at all.
Success is not always measured by an income number. Think about what it would take for you to be very happy and content in your own life. That might be your success number in terms of income, weight loss, recognition, or what ever you are trying to achieve.
