FIR infrared saunas have a lot of advantages over the old steam-style sauna. One of the problems with the more traditional type is if you open the door, the heat dissipates immediately, but not with this type. Also, it uses less energy and is more hygienic. As a matter of fact they are so appealing that manufacturers are now making them portable. A huge advantage of these is that they can be folded away so they take up less space.


Another benefit is that saunas can improve your health.Because saunas promote perspiration, it helps people's heath by allowing them to sweat out toxins. One thing to remember is that because infrared saunas don't use steam to warm you up, it may not feel like a normal sauna experience, but it doesn't rob your body of water like steam does either.
